Lol... Thanks! Not much info on wirefly pre-orders from wirefly or otherwise. Not frustrated, just looking for info and came across that thread. Please feel free to delete if it violates any forum rules. :)

My response would have been, "X we're so sorry this happened, if you can give us the store we will forward it to the appropriate parties and investigate this. We take our customer relationships very seriously. That being said, we have no concrete ETA on when our phones will arrive though we are working to get them to stores before the weekend"...but alas when you have an agency doing your social media like they probably do the agency doesn't care that much.

Definetly not dude don't sweat it and I totally agree... I just thought it was interesting that we both ended up there after all this time talking about it in the forum...I promise I'm not a jerk either... Just my patience has been wearing thin.. And seeing them respond to everyone but me was starting to get annoying.. I really hope they get it in tomorrow or Friday. It is a small world. Haha... Ivwas told today by the manager at the rs I preordered ay that I was the stores only LTEvo preorder... Have you heard any further details? I it seems like everyone else is getting theirs tomorrow even best buy do I don't see why radioshack wouldn't

Didn't the stop that, or about to? You can pay. I wasn't due until JUNE 2013. Last week, I called Sprint and paid $115 to upgrade early. I think you'd be in the $45 (or less?) window? Call Sprint Top Tier Support line.

Thanks EarlyMon! Yes, this phone has us busy and we are really really excited like all of you! :) That being said, I can promise you all that as soon as we have the phones in stock and we get the go ahead to ship and/or the phone is officially launched, we will start shipping them out to our customers as soon as possible and in the order that they were received. If you pre-ordered, you should have gotten an email from us that states:
Great News! We learned overnight that US officials finally cleared the Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE shipment and they will soon be on their way to Sprint and, of course, us.

We do not have a definitive delivery date yet, but we

Most have had no proble getting there upgrade moved up. (read previous pots in this thread) Sprint, last are herd was doing up to 2 week early upgrades no questions asked. If there going to be real sticklers.

1) You could simply buy out your contract, should nominal since your that close to a upgrade.
2) If your on a Sprints family plan Just add a line $19.99 per mo. Then swap PH#'s

Either way you should be able to pick up your pre-ordered LTEVO @ BB
Make sure work it out with Sprint & BB rep to get
1) $50 gc from BB
2) $100 from Sprint upgrade, since your first bill will post after your upgrade date

I know before I signi anything @ BB store 1&2 are taken care of :)

Once your LTEVO is home get your $10 Google Wallet Money :D

Is there something specific on your order I can assist you with? I just posted that we will be shipping phones as soon as possible to our customers, but if you have a specific issue/concern with your order, please let me know and I will be happy to help you out.
 
I called on May 7 to have my upgrade date changed, was told they could move it up to May 18, well that date has come and gone and my upgrade date still shows June 1. Called Sprint again today and was told they can move my upgrade date up, but only when I can find an EVO LTE to purchase, since pre orders are no longer available.

I swear by Thor's Hammer, if something else comes between me and this phone, some furniture is going to get rearranged. Hopefully the phone will be in stores by Friday, or when I am in Cali next week.
 
4:30PM #EVOGATE Update Inside Sprint Now

While nothing has been announced *yet* today officially… here’s a recap of what we know for sure:


  • Consumer direct pre-orders are being shipped for delivery tomorrow as we already knew (your phone is likely a few thousand feet in the air at this moment, or on the ground, depending on your location)
  • BestBuy.com began charging cards and shipping around noon today for online orders
  • We have multiple verifiable reports of 3rd parties that will be receiving stock tonight as well, but there are a couple that won’t receive it until tomorrow.
  • Sprint Store pre-orders have already shipped and should have arrived today or in the AM.

With ALL of that in mind – there has still been *NOTHING* published internally as far as an official launch date. However, If I had to stake a wager – it would be that pre-orders/reservations would be able to be picked up tomorrow (Friday at the absolute latest).. but with that also being said, it’s pure speculation until I hear something definitive. With the way the DWL (Device wait list) works, it’s to everyone’s advantage of giving a good notice of when they will be able to pick up their device – especially given there is an upcoming holiday weekend, and a ton of people have travel plans. So with all that in mind – I think the ‘official’ launch day will be Friday 5/25…. simply because tomorrow is super short notice.. especially given the fact that nothing has come out with anything new so far today, and it’s almost time to close up shop here on campus.


So that’s my prediction – 5/25 as an official launch date – but it’s just that, a prediction, until I hear otherwise… and of course, as soon as I hear otherwise, you’ll be the first to know!


And – my favorite tweet of the day – UPS has a GREAT attitude about all this.. think they’re waiting on an EVO too?

Thanks! Just was looking for more info. It seems people who ordered directly from Sprint have tracking #s and was wondering what is going on with Wirefly orders? I placed my order on the 7th.

Yea my upgrade was July 1st. I was able to move mine up to June 18th. I kept asking if there was a way to upgrade any sooner and just kept being told June 18th and I had to call in that date to request it. I called back a 3rd time and asked about the upgrade program and only will have to pay $44.00.

Sprint is not going to loose you as a customer. They will work with you. They don't charge for data caps, shared minutes, buy back your phones...etc..

I know we see all the ads about others LTE and how it's the fastest and what not. That's great. But if your on a data cap, wouldn't that um not allow you to use it too much?

At least with Sprint they have already said it may not be as fast, but we will be consistent. I can respect that. Honest up front. Most of the time I am on wifi, but since Dallas is one of the first cities for LTE...I am happy to try.

All I am saying is that Sprint is great. I am glad we got this whole fiasco behind us and can move on. Being the best community, with the best provider, and for the first time will not have all the bloat ware on the phone. Woot.

Good to know that I chose wisely :p :). Androidforums is the only Android forum I'm on. I signed up for XDA for a free app, but I rarely use that site. :)

That's the number one PDA/smartphone developer's site. Gets a little cantankerous at times, but I doubt we'd be seeing root or roms without them - I know I wouldn't! :) :alberteinstein:

Thanks.. I will look at the other thread too.. I was on the phone with them for 25 min with the rep and supervisor. I wasnt pushing very hard at them. But they said they could only give me an upgrade if I ordered through Sprint. I am a very good standing customer.. never late on any bill, been w/ Sprint for 12 yrs. They usually bend over backwards for me but not this time i guess. I said that i wanted to order through Best Buy, they asked my why.. i said they give you a $50 GC.. Guess they are really pushing telesales on me here.. They just said we can do it, but only through telesales.. UGH.. Maybe if Friday is the day.. I will try again and maybe i can get them to change their tune.
