Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

I am starting to get a bad feeling that they are going to fill orders first for folks upgrading and renewing their contracts. I hope I'm wrong, but I've got a feeling I will not see mine before Monday now. :(

Got the same message. Mine is an upgrade to current contract and I have not got a tracking number. I don't think there is any logic to how orders are filled based on the fact that people on the west coast were able to place orders before people on the east coast...
 
That is what mine says gonna be a long day if it dont change and even longer weekend. but I have confidence it will change

Same here, returning customer with a long over-due upgrade from an old feature phone. It irked me that I had to stay up till mid-night east coast to order, then I couldnt even order until I figured out a random zip code work-around, while people from west coast were ordering away willy nilly.

Now east-coasters who got screwed staying up the latest will get screwed gain with delayed shipping.:(

I didn't realize checking my email today for a tracking number would be just as intense as checking verizon last night for updated availability :eek:

BUT

Atleast we got the droid x's ordered finally :)
 
I ordered my X at 2:30am Central time and when I called this morning to verify my order it was sent to the supervisor for approval. I asked how long that would take and they replied, "not sure, most likely today but with how crazy it has been it could take 24 to 48 hours to process." Then the sales rep put it in as 2 day delivery so I could possibly looking at getting my phone as late as Wed. That is still cool with me. I would like to get it soon but atleast I got one ordered and I will have it soon. Thats my story.

For those that billed the phone to their account:

I'm a current customer. I ordered last night. I had the phone billed to my account, full retail. My order status just changed to "processed and will be shipped" about an hour ago and now I just got my FedEx tracking number.

If u billed the phone to your account it should be fine, it shouldnt take long to process. Although my bill wasnt past due or anything. Thats something to think about if u dont get a tracking number by tonight.

What the heck....I placed my order right around 630am, and I never got any messages at all, let alone a shipping notice!
 
I was able to order mine online at around 10pm PST (luckily, right before I had to go to work) and I just got home and I received a tracking number with an estimated delivery date of tomorrow by 3 pm. Hope you guys get your tracking number soon, and hopefully its not 2 day shipping.
 
I got the overnight FedEx shipping. It said ships by 3 p.m. the next day. I ordered at 12:20 last night though. Should I even have my hopes up?
 
I ordered mine online around 6:30am EST this morning (the 15th). Received a order notice about 30 seconds later and a shipping notice with tracking number at 7:30am. Will arrive on Friday by 3pm by FedEx.

I checked mine and it said the same thing so I called just to check. I actually got a CSR who was intelligent! He informed me it had already shipped and would be here Friday, the system had not updated yet. With all of the discounts we get and an error on VZW's part plus a one time $75 credit to appear on my first bill I got the X the travel kit they were offering and the home dock for less than the 2 year price of the phone (about $180) !!! :) :) :) :)
 
I ordered mine at 11:04 MST last night and this morning at 6:09 I received my shipment notice. It is to be here by 3:00 pm tomorrow. I can't wait. Anyone have any idea on how to move all my contact info off my LG Dare and to the Droid X ?
 
ordered mine 10:16pm pst and got an email this morning at 4:24 am saying my order was shipped!

just means it will be near first on the plane and near last off of it though lol
still good to know it will be here Friday

Yea, I ordered around 1:30 am -2:00am and my tracking info says by 3pm tomorrow.

I think since most of us did it in the wee hours, some of yall are hoping for same day delivery. I was surprised I had a instant promo deal for overnight delivery. I really wasnt expecting it til next week.
 
How is it that all these people that ordered their phones after me are getting their shipping confirmations before me? Mine is not even processed yet... I ordered mine at 12:40 AM EST. Does anyone that ordered it using a different Zip Code to find it first get their orders processed yet? Was it full retail?

If you don't have one create a google account you will need it anyway.
Then if you are a good typer just input them into your Google contacts on your computer (it goes fast with a full sized keyboard) When you get your Droid X it will download them to your phone once you sign in from your phone.
