BTW, someone mentioned a Gizmodo review. Suggestion: don't read a dang thing til YOU have it in hand and have checked it out YOURSELF. Then draw your own conclusions re whether or not it's a keeper. 30 days is enough time to reach a final decision based on personal use.

Mine says it left Memphis at 4:20 a.m., but I still am not showing it to be in Columbia, SC. A little concerned, but it still shows estimated delivery for today, so hopefully I'll get it before 3:00 p.m. today. I would love to have all weekend to play around with this new bad boy!
 
Well just got the bad news....even though I ordered at 315 am, the order didn't process until 330 which is the point when phones were being back ordered so now I have to wait a week to get my Friggin phone.....great...just great.
 
I ordered 2 Droid X's through Verizon yesterday morning...never received the email confirmation...haven't yet today so I called a few minutes ago...Droid X's will be here today by 3! YAY!!
 
And people think VZW is so much better than ATT, et al...???!!!

Morons. I placed the order at 6:30 AM yesterday and got the receipt at the same time. My receipt reads 'Over Night Delivery- FREE'. WTH????:mad::mad::mad:

Me too -- I ordered at 5:30AM EST, and was just told that I'm in the queue for backorders because the order wasn't processed for 12 hours. She said that the one week delay was worst-case.

The excuse given was that their ordering system was overwhelmed. Which is believable. Though I'm curious whether there's any rhyme or reason to whose order was filled first. FWIW, I'm in MA, opened a new individual account at the 2-year 450-minute level, with a corporate discount, and paid extra for overnight shipping.

This delay will give me an opportunity to consider refusing the shipment and doing something else with my money. Like, I could keep my pre-paid Virgin Mobile UglyPhone and book a one-week Alaska cruise for my wife and me instead.
 
Funny, the first tracking number I got said it was 2 pounds so I figure it is my phone I ordered around midnight. I get another tracking number around 2 am which I see this morning and figure it is my accessories I ordered around 11am and they may be a day behind due to the late email and such. I check both tracking numbers and they are both at Fed Ex to be delivered today before 3 COOL! Now the weird part, The original tracking number now says it is 1 pound and some ounces when before it was 2 something and the other one is now 2 something???!?!?!??
 
I ordered mine at 12:40 a.m online. It went through immediately, I guess I got in quickly for it to come by noon today. I live in MA
 
HOT DAMN! I woke up and looked for an email praying it was shipped, but nothing. Checked the status and it said the BS about inventory availability. As I am looking through the forum for my daily dose of everything that is X, I check my email again and lo and behold...Shipped today and will be here Monday!!! I guess the "processing overload" caused it to delay a day, so now I have to wait an extra couple, but at least I will have it on Monday. I predict next week is going to be a good one!!!!:cool:
 
I ordered my X over the phone at 10am yesterday. I have not received any notice of processing/shipping. I called just a few minutes ago and the woman said since I ordered at 10am, I should be fine. Wouldn't give me a tracking number or even tell me if it had been shipped...
 
Out For Delivery. Woohoo!

I guess I'm locked inside my apartment for a while, and I've had FedEx deliver anywhere between 10am and 3pm, so it could be a long while.
 
Well Fed Ex still shows nothing found under my tracking number. :( Has this number since yesterday around 1pm. Hoping there is a chance it shipped as I was told and I will still get it today even though its not in Fed Ex system but I am starting to doubt that.
 
Sweet I woke up to an email saying my order was shipped will get it Monday.. I didn't order till very late yesterday (8pm EST) when all indications were it would not be shipped till 23rd.

So I called Fed Ex and they looked me up by name and they told me that Verizon Wireless gave me the wrong tracking number. They said that my package arrived and is out for delivery by 3pm. Sweet!
 
"On FedEx vehicle for delivery." Woohoo! Too bad I have to wait until I get off work before I get to use it. I'll have to remember to call my wife and tell her to charge it when I see it has been delivered.
 
There is frequently a lag between what is written in tracking and what is actually going on. I wouldn't get too excited if you're hoping for a delivery today until after 5. Then I might start getting worked up a bit.

And to the guys saying good bye to Verizon because they couldn't get their phone in the mail in 24 hours......Really? Is this really that important? LOL, It's a phone.... I would have been very disappointed too, but man get a grip. There are people in this world digging through trash heaps for their food. We live in LaLa land. I am thankful that we do, but get a grip! Btw my current status: On truck for delivery baby!

These CSR's are really clueless. I put my order in around 4-430 a.m. EST and got my tracking info around 6 p.m.
