Official Swype on Incredible discussions

One thing that wasn't mentioned was that on Swype, if you swipe down the left side of the keyboard from the info key to the SYM key, you get an edit keyboard for cut/copy/paste, etc. (In landscape mode, if in portrait, just swipe from the info key to the SYM key to get that keyboard).

You can only delete words you added.

Just click on the word and hit the swype button and you'll get a delete box.

Yes, it'd be nice to somewhere be able to see a list of words that you entered, but I don't think that's anywhere.
 
I have just ben notified that my trial of swype is done and please upgrade. What do i do i can not live without swype. When ever i try to swype a blue boarder flashes around the keyboard. Has this happen to you?
 
My swype trial expired, so I uninstalled it and found the beta and installed it, but it's still saying my trial has expired...???
 
Just checked swype site, looks like they released a new beta. like last time they did this, they will expire older versions. eventually someone will apk the new beta. might have to wait a couple days.

check out slideit to hold you over.
 
Haha this just happened to me too. I had a mini panic attack. Still am actually. Can't find a dl for it anywhere that works... Hopefully one will pop up soon..
 
I can't find a working version of Swype anymore, and my trial just expired :( Tried Shapewriter, but it takes up so much room on my screen that I can't see anything else :(
 
I hate swype for doing this, why not just open up the new release to all or not close them.

I have tried to log into my swype account on their website, I have registered there about 3-4 months ago, and it says my password/email login is not in the system.
 
Yeah no one can get a working version of swype unless they're part of the Beta, i tryed like 10-15 different links of swype and i always get a error that says trial verizon expired.
 
Oh my god this just happened to me too and it blows not being able able to use it. The old keyboard is just annoying to me now and one handing things just got a whole lot more annoying. I hope someone .apk this thing soon or that they would just release it already.

We don't have the option to upgrade it, because none of us are able to get into the closed beta. There are versions you can download all over the Web, but when a new one comes out you get locked out.

What a complete crock. Open the damn beta or just release the product and let us pay for it. Idiots...

the reason they aren't having an open beta is because they are still a small company and they don't want to be overwhelmed.
