Root Official Unrevoked Developers have Froyo on EVO

why do some people seem not to like unrevoked? its the only root method i have used and it seems too work just fine, im i missing something?

People dont like because its not a "full root." They make it seem like its for noobs and posers.

Yeah, not sure either. I used it as a gateway, now full root, unlocked NAND access and Clockwork Recovery.

I like unrEVOked, those cats made my life easier.

Who cares if it's not a full root if it works for those who are using it? If the people are happy with what it does for them then that should be fine and if it doesn't there are plenty of others that have full root methods. I don't see why there can't be enough room for everyone.

Same here. I choose to root via unrevoked and it was perfect to what I wanted to do with my phone.
 
Thank goodness our 30 fps preachers won't be leaving us anytime soon. Woe is us - Froyo within two months of the initial release but forced to schlep along with 30 fps - oh, woe.

Now - I have one question - expect the answer's no... H.264 video recording......?
