Not HTC fault or sprint. They did not release it as the final nor did they tell people to use it. But im sure HTC will help out all the buffoons that used this by sending out a new update.

BTW if the OTA update gets pushed back i blame all you people that just couldnt wait a few more days. Thank you.

Well that seals it for me, no Froyo until Swype is working with it on the Evo!

i have swype and it works fine. So i dont know whats up with that guys swype app but hes speaking for it and himself only.

So, I don't mind. I'll wait for Tuesday. If in fact it's the "official" one with different codes, my EVO should be able to pick it up and for me to download it.

Had to uninstall and reinstall swype. Works for me. So far only issue i have is TaskOS. Everything else works.

According to HTC this is not the official release and it was asked to be removed. Kinda glad I waited.

Dude they never told us to update. It's not their fault. YOU CHOSE to do this update. The only thing they told us to do is update via the HTC Software update. No update there, obviously not done/nor available.

Now we are going to see hate posts blaming Sprint/HTC -_-

When i was working on the video Camera if anyone remember i could only get it to 800x480 at around 13 to 14 mbps. Maybe in the final version they can increase it, If not i am happy just having H.264 on this phone. This might be a codec limitation on the phone.
