Sweet!! I use this player on my PC to stream Radio Stations. It's a awesome player.

Looking at the feedback I think I'll wait a bit for it to settle down. I don't like the comments about your phone being spammed...is that true?

No clue. I didn't install it for myself. Just ran across it and decided to share. I don't really watch any videos/movies on my phone unless it's from Netflix.

I'll wait as well. There are many other apps out there that work with VLC. I see no reason to switch.

I've just stuck with the default media player that came with my phone, since it does play .ogg formats. I'll wait and see how well VLC turns out.

"Read Browser History and Bookmarks" makes it a no for me. No reason for that, I'll stick with mx.

Don't install!!! It's a spamware fake app that feeds you ads and spams your email account. Even the developer's listed website is fake. (http://vlcplayer.com/) The real VLC Media Player app (from VideoLAN.org) is still under development.

I'm thinking I agree. Looks like it was just released and yet the developer website is bogus. Seems to be a lot of red flags here IMO.
