Ohhh Nooo...DUST!!!

I have a zagg, it's not on the phone yet as I'm going to be exchanging my phone for another one and the zagg only goes to the edge of the glass! It does not cover the full front of the phone.

Again the zagg ONLY covers the glass, the dust and light leaks are coming from where the glass (and zagg) stops and meets the rest of the phone, (you know...the edge of the glass)
You're wasting your time man...he's one of those people that talks about things he knows nothing about.

I'm pretty sure zagg offers 3 types of protectors for the tb, and 2 of them do cover more than just the glass

correction: just looked and it does NOT look like it would cover the little crack between the screen and rest of the phone

Like I already said...even if the thing DOES fold down over the edge of the screen it would look like crap...I've never even heard of such a thing, plus it will NOT stop dust getting in there.

I would love to see a pic of this screen protector going down over the edge of the screen. Zagg would never make such a crapy looking thing, imo.

Here is a zagg's pic of what the full body zagg does and it does not show it covering more than the glass on the front. Lots on the back, but just the glass on the front.

If mine has this problem when I get it. I won't bother screwing around changing phones only to have the same or a different issue arise. I will just seal the damn hole or crack with a bead of clear silicon.you can still open it up if needed. And if a tech says I voided any warranty I will tell him htc did when they realeased defective phones.

Don't worry about a tech seeing it: after you do it you cannot tell you did anything. It only takes a VERY small amount of the silicone. I would use black tho. That way not only do you seal the dust out you block light leak. Two birds one stone.

The ultra black is available in a tiny little tube at Autozone. It is the gasket type silicone not the adhesive. Brand name is Permatex. Non-odor emitting and non corrosive.

Sorry, I don't usually try to "bag" on people on internet forums, but due to your huge avatar/premium logo, every time you post, it stands out.. and in most of your posts, you seem completely clueless on what you're saying. :o

I think silicon is the best bet.i will check on the black.

I know, I wasn't going to say anything. There is nothing wrong with making a mistake, but to keep suggesting something that is so obviously incorrect...I don't get it.

Anyway the silicone method WORKS, I can guarantee it. The EVO owners have been doing it for a year. It's the only method that is going to seal that screen.

Just make sure and take it slow and less is more. Just have a damp(not wet, just damp) paper towel handy for wiping the overage and to push the silicone in there nicely and to keep that frame lip clean. If you have any questions when/if it comes time just ask here or you can PM me. :)
