Root Ok so which exact PNY 2GB Micro SD works correctly for this process?

I've seen a few on the walmart website, just want to make sure which p/n I want before I go there and try and get it ;)
 
Its the only mirco 2gb pny sd card they carry. Its a class 2 and comes in a black and gold package. It was $11 at the store. Just walk in grab it and walk out, i wouldn't fool around with ordering it over the net. Staples has them also, and i'm sure meijers would stock them as well.

Ok I know which one that is now, if you go online they have like three different 2GB PNY's LOL
 
After weeks of fighting with a ridata 16gb class 6 and sandisk 8gnarled class 2 I decided to get the PNY from wally world. Low and behold, it really worked. Only took one try with the "push in the card at the ish disconnect method". This is the sound right as you enter recovery. Man I'm glad to have WiFi tethering for my iPad and to have cityid gone!

Good to hear. I've been plugging away at trying to get root since day one. I have tried a number of cards, PC's and cables with no luck. I'm just going to bite the bullet and pick up the PNY card after work today. Wally World is on the way home anyway.

yeah you won`t reget it, I tired for a week straight no luck, until I heard someone else did the same thing so, last friday I went to wally world after work and and bought the same card it worked on the first time, after all of that time of beating my head against the wall:D
 
Although that card does seem to have a solid success rate, it did not work for me. Here's hoping you have better luck.
 
I purchased this card, didn't have any luck.. Used a friends older 2gig card and got root with no issues, not sure of the brand though.. I even have a PNY 2gig card that is like 3yrs old, no dice either :(
 
Same here,4 different computers,1 laptop 3 desktop,4 different sd cards 2g pny 4 gig pny 4 gig sandisk and an 8g sandisk,every possible way,read every thread at least a dozen times,tried 2 hours a day for almost a week.
Not rocket science,instructions are easy enough to follow but there is definitely something not right about this.
Giving up before i destroy my phone,popping battery in and out 1000 times and the sd card as well,if i keep it up my droid will be introduced to the wall!:eek:
