So I'm running the RRR (redemption revolution rom) 1.5 and I'm diggin' it...really liking the look/layout, animations, battery life etc...

I like to play with setcpu, but haven't installed it with this ROM....thought I'd give it a try tonight ya know we techies like to be in control of everything right!

My battery is at 36%. Install setcpu. Disable perflock check start at boot and setup screen off profile for 245-384 and decide I would like to underclock the max clock to 768 (it runs the same as 998 to my old eyes) also set at boot. I re-boot and my battery is at 41%. I've never seen this

what to make of this what say you? :>
 
On a not so side note, I'm seeing unbelieveable battery life from this rom and the stock kernel. Tried King 5 and it was way bad. Could watch the % drop by the minute when browsing. I've been up for 9 hours and although fairly light usage today...76% right now. I'm usually down to that by the time I get to work and down a cup of coffee. I'm almost afraid to mess with underclocking on this one but the thought has crossed my mind. I am on the 3rd day of a battery stats wipe as a matter of full disclosure.

That is excellent and I agree battery life on this ROM is superb.

btw flashing 1.6 now :D

I was on my way to do so but I can't access the market. Is it down for you too? I ain't flashing without the ability to get Titanium in short order.

Just booted up went to market and installed Titanium fine works for me. The boot animation is wild!
 
Can't wait to see it, everyone's saying that. Got my market back and the files downloaded but I think I'll wait until tomorrow to load. Give me something to look forward to.

All set up now it's very nice. Look forward to hearing how you like it!
 
If you don't need a lot of power from it (for example, if your main use is surfing/texting/email) then underclocking can give you much better battery life.

Love it. Man he's good at tweaking in the right changes. Font was too bold now it's perfect. Boot anny rules, tether works great, even like his default wallpaper, less junk in the app trunk, REALLY like the smoke glass popup windows even tho it already had those.

This thing has been my daily Rom since it's release. Kicks all forms of ass and unquestionably the best Sense Rom out there IMO. I might retire this phone still running this one.

So wait, you're running Redemptive 1.6 with Revolution theme? I had Rev theme on my Virtuous and loved it. Have since flashed to Uncommon but would love to try Rev theme on it. Possible?

Not sure honestly. I'm running Redemptive R-EVO-lution ROM with the Redemptive R-EVO-lution Framework and theme (single file, both components). Not sure but I'm guessing it wouldn't work since it was ported from the EVO and Uncommon is ported from official Froyo for the DI. Could be wrong though. How'd you get Rev on Virtuous? Maybe there's a separate theme that's not a theme/framework combo? That might work.

Cool, thanks. Rev is a d/l on Rom manager I believe under Virtuous. Have to check later, happy hour!! :eek:

Edit: Yep, under Virtuous in Rom Manager, Rev theme.

Since I use my phone as a "phone" 768 is gravy. There is no discernible difference between it and 998. Saves a little lithium juice. I don't benchmark or game on my Inc :D

Yeah this is a really good sense ROM I really like it and I've had them all :cool:
