Lol kibbster are you really that dependant on this site ;) lol I was having withdrawal symptoms too about the site downtime ;)
 
I remember when I was first talking to you kibbster, you felt unsure about rooting and all that.. and I was helping you out. But now you have done it and using your custom ROM, and you are on here alot.. and even feeling lonely when the site is down. I'm happy for you dude ;)

lol ok you don't have to point out how sad I am that this site seems to have become my second home :P

My wife is jealous of my love for the other woman in my life (her name is Desire) and the fact I spend most of my free time on here.

As for Rooting and stuff, I've always been into messing with PCs but never got into flashing phones and stuff until I found one that I actually cared enough about to want to tweak it and customise it.
All my other phones (including my iPhone) have been just phones to be dumped generally uncharged for days at a time but I still can't put my Desire down and feel a bit disappointed when there aren't any new themes to cook in the kitchen or updates to my apps on market place lol

And also I'm the same lol, I spend alot of time on here.. I always mess around with PCs and devices as well but I have to say the desire has been the most fun awesome phone ever
 
Agreed.
The mind boggles why anyone would want an overpriced, limited and restricted iPhone over all this tweaking joy.
Without the customisation it's just a phone that drains it's battery very quickly ;)
 
Yeah but I just can't believe how expensive iPhones are, yet they are so limited, I mean u can jailbreak but even then its limited.. with these, they are sooo much cheaper and there is so much more you can do with them like ROM flashing and all that. I had an iPhone 3G then got this and this is so much bbetter. I even like this mmuch better than my uncles iPhone 4 :D love HTC, and android :D

haha nah actually I dunno, dont think so...just think hes a main contributor here and over at XDA with rooting an such..
 
Yeah I have gathered he contributes a lot. He has helped me a huge ammount in the past. :)
 
welcome to the club. so many of us here call AF our second home. this is the only forum that has really ever kept my interest, even now when im using an iphone for work I visit this site all the time all day. Verizon needs to hurry and let us employees activate tbolts on employee lines!

not even, after jailbreaking it and all the ui apps ive had to install just to get some of the functionality my droid has its turned into a laggy POS device :(

and all the stuff ive had to tweak and get right all comes in the free launcher pro without rooting :)
