Root Okay so I have bootanimation working...audio help?

I have an Evo 4g running mik 2.55 and no kernel (I think mik 2.55 comes with its own right?...still new to this.), I put hTC_bootanimation.zip and android_audio into their respective folders as in this quote from the mikmik bootanimation thread:

<BootConfiguration> <BootAnimation audio="/system/customize/resource/android_audio.mp3" animation="/data/local/hTC_bootanimation.zip"/> </BootConfiguration>

but the audio only plays for the first 4-5 seconds... anyone else experience this??

Either that or its not really synced up right...


I am using the glassbreaking minions bootanimation from this thread:

3d bootanimation for MIKG, 3d Minions, GOW3, MW3 and much more!!

any help appreciated!! (Ps, yes I have root explorer pro)

sorry man, unfortunately for me, i have not played around with boot sound very much. it might be that the sound is not sync very well. not sure on the length and how to go about to make it longer. if it plays then you are putting it in the right spot.

just going by what you said, its more than likely not sync'd right...first to actually see how long the audio is, try playing it on your computer and see if its still 4-5 seconds long, then you would know for sure...if its not sync'd right, it isnt really that difficult to change if you have a video and sound editing program....honestly i would post where you got it and see if the person who made it answers and request him to look at it or fix it...im gonna download it and check it out and see whats up with it...just may take me a bit, been workin mad long hours lately...

EDIT: im looking on the link you posted but i do not see any glass breaking bootanimation or audio...i could just be blind lol....if at all possible you could post the download links for files themselves it would be appreciated lol...also i was reading, a thread in there where you got the location to put the bootanimation...i have never seen one go in the data/local folder...was that where the original boot animation was before you put the new one in there??
