Okay so who hates the volume controls?

Okay no wise remarks :-)

I had to giggle at that. I guess even though I haven't lived there in forever, we Michigan people are crazy like that. OK, I'll write down not responsive and add a reminder not to make any jokes!

Most of my tablet experience is visual, so I haven't noticed that aspect about the buttons yet.

I personally don't mind the buttons that much, but with movies, I can't stand...

1/4 = Can't here sh*t.

1/2 = I think they're saying something.

3/4 = Oh, there we go.

Full = Damn that's loud!

You are one lucky dude we will let everyone know how it works. Sounds like it could be a good portable option.

Hoping it will fit over the gel case?

Just installed "Quick Settings" allows you to access master volume from the notification bar. Customized and slide up the master volume control. Also use the white text option.

Use dialog view mode!

Dialog mode looks perfect, but once you are there how do you get back to Customize and Preferences? The status bar button doesn't show up in dialog mode and there doesn't seem to be a button in the dialog itself. I had to delete all data for the application so I could reset it to the default full screen mode just to get back to the customization options again. Am I missing something here?

Menu soft button.

Menu soft button.

Right, but the menu soft button is gone for me in dialog mode. When Quick Setting is running in full screen I see the Menu button. But in dialog mode when the dialog is visible I only have Back, Home, an Recent Apps. There is no fourth button. Maybe I need to reboot to see it.

Must do it from the home screen.

Must do it from the home screen.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. I am at the home screen. I start Quick Settings, either by clicking on the app icon on the home screen or through the icon in the status messages. The Quick Settings dialog opens. But there is no soft menu button like it would be in full screen mode that would allow me to select Customize or Preferences. Only three soft buttons are visible.

Not a fan of the first ringer volume widget or the quick settings app, I just want a widget that I can turn the system volume up and down, that first widget you can't hold up or down, which kinda sucks IMO.

Just bought one on eBay $18 shipped, 2 left, will let you know how it works. I like the fact that it is rechargeable and small.

Just received an hour ago, its nice device especially for under 10$ the sound won't get distored at the highest level and I can get the speaker sound in the front of the Xoom. Pretty niffy. Nice on-off switch with some type of pin connection on the back, not sure what for though.
