Root omg can somebody please help me!

i need help flashing my ascend back to stock.I've tried both ways and nothing.fastboot didn't reboot it and the nandroid way gave me a boot image error!my reason for flashing to stock is because i didnt back up my phone before my last mod flash to froyo 2.2.by the way that was crap.i got the no uim msg after flashing it again for the same problem. so yesterday i decided to flash to cm6 and still have th no uim msg except now its no sim.same thing. so if any one person on android forums can help me out that would be great.

ps.i have my old ascend with a cracked screen though it still works.i flashed that one and used the back up on that sd card on the ne ascend and got "error flashing boot image" msg.

There are already threads here for flashing it back to stock, I would recommend looking at those first.

theres a easier way too if you have clockworkmod recovery installed.

Just a note... I did NOT have clockworkmod installed when i did the Flash to stock
