Root Once rooted.. how to remove bloatware

Successfully used the one-click root method this morning and have s-off and working root. Aside from possibly flashing to a different ROM, how can I remove the bloatware like blockbuster app and asphalt5?

Is there a good Gingerbread ROM to flash? I've never flashed before. Is it as simple and downloading the ROM to my SD card and then rebooting into clockwork recovery and picking to install the new ROM?

Just flashed my first ROM. Its the one that is described in my signature. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gingerbread, Sense 2.1, its great!!!

Everything worked out as planned this time around!

Also, glad to hear that you were able to obtain root access.

Which ROM is it? I'm using the phandroid app and can't see your sig. Did you download from clockwork recovery and have to restore your data?

Thanks, I'm glad your root went well too!

This is a link to the ROM. This ROM gives you HTC Sense 2.16.0.0 and Android 2.3.2 "Gingerbread". I put the .zip folder on the root of my SD card, set the phone to "Charge Only", and then opened up ROM Manager. Once there I chose to install a ROM from the SD card. I picked the file and... BOOM! Right into CWM. It was great! No problems yet. Did the full wipe and installed the ROM. Now I'm rockin' Sense 2.1 and Gingerbread!!!

Once you upload the file on imageshack, the 4th link from the top that says forums code, copy and paste that line here and it should show up.

ImageShack doesn't let me upload the pictures. I used an app in the Market that requires root, but I guess the filetypes aren't correct. I'll post a video of the ROM later.

Did you try emailing yourself the screen shot and then ensuring it was a .jpg file?

My device is installing the ROM now! Can't wait.

I kinda like this pull down better, I like simple.

CoreDroid 4.9 is my favorite ROM so far. Gingerbread, nice theme, no bloat, HSUPA, tethering, and lightning fast. :)

I'm going to flash 5.0 tonight. I've tried a lot of them, and nobody is as close to perfect as CoreDroid IMHO.

Despite what I said before, I actually moved on to CyanogenMod 7. I'm having a really hard time picking ROMs. :D

I liked CoreDroid really well, I'm just trying to play with a non-Sense ROM for a while and see how pure Android feels.
