I swear you folks are not making this easy for me. 
Super deal which I know only comes once in a lifetime but I haven't been with AT&T since the 1990's. Been with Sprint ever since and I am so used to the unlimited plans. I'm afraid of the restrictions I keep hearing on AT&t and i know i can use it for 30 days, but still. aarrgghhh decisions decisions.

Has someone been able to use this discount for existing customers, not just adding a line and new customers? I already have the cappy on at&t and up for an upgrade, I would also like to take advantage of this incredible deal.
I went into my store to add a line and they wouldn't accept it.

Apparently because I'm a Premiere Business customer, I'm not eligible for it and will need to go through the website; which by the way is butchered.

Yeah it took me a bit with the website to get it to work but eventually I got it right. You should see if you can buy through the website and use the pickup at store feature that someone above mentioned, that might really stick it to the man.
You can click all the way through the menus to find out and just don't buy it if it doesn't seem to work. I haven't read about any restrictions on the deal.
I'm trying--it keeps asking me to add another line ontop of my existing account.
Doesn't make sense.

I had hell getting the discount with Premiere. So, I'm just going to wait until March 3rd and get it for $299 upgrade cost.
I got tired of dealing with the idiot on the phone telling me I wasn't eligible because I'm a business customer with 18% off service, phones, and accessories. Heh, I guess I shouldn't complain since my company employs over 1000 cellular devices with AT&T.

I got around it. Called my buddy who works for the local AT&T store and this is what he told me to do.
Open a new account (either way you pay $36 fee), get the phone and the credit. (Which I did, cost me $162 for the phone).
Once I get it, come see him and he'll merge my account (as I planned to do) and will strip it so I'm only looking at $10 increase. Luckily I don't foot the cell bill as my company reimburses me for it up to $250 (I travel international a lot).
SCORE!
Now to see when I get the damn thing. I can't wait now!

Ok so I thought I would try and get a note today..my contract is up june 2013
I was able to sweet talk them into doing the phone at $299 (premier pricing is $399 normally) $100 statement credit, waived activation fee and free overnight shipping.
No mention of any of the specials but the guy was aware of it.
Unfortunately I don't have the cash lol...but at least verified it is possible.
Anyone want to buy a skyrocket haha.

Ordered through Amazon wireless for $249 yesterday. Saw this post after doing some further online reading about the capabilities of the phone (my first android).
Calls to AT&T
#1 Transferred to someone in India and call dropped upon hello. Have a feeling that would have gone no where
#2 Waited 9 mins on hold after talking to someone who seemed real apathetic. Didn't progress beyond explaining situation
#3 Talked to nice lady with Premier. Ended up getting:
$101 bill credit to compensate for the Amazon purchase overpricing.
$149.99 + taxes Galaxy note for my second line (yeah!)
$36 activation fee waived
$36 activation fee waived
(note in the account, I have to call back in a month to finalize waiving of activation)
= TOTAL SAVINGS OF $322.99 with this one successful phone call.
I wasn't mean, just very appreciative of AT&T's good service. Through my employee discount of 17% my monthly bill WITH taxes for two 4h smartphones will be $110. Not bad, especially considering my quotes through any other provider for 2 4G phones was around $150 monthly with the minimum family plans.

Sold my Skyrocket on Craigslist for $325. I watched a used one on eBay sell for $400 (15+ bids) with free shipping. I figure after shipping costs, eBay, and PayPal fees $325 was a decent price on Craigs. I sold my phone in less the 24hrs and had about 9 offers.

They don't update it on the site very quickly. Mine said the same thing and then all of a sudden they were out for delivery in my neighborhood and then BOOM! Arrival. Hopefully it's the same for you and they show up today!
