Help One fading screen, one black screen.

Hi,

I have two Warp Sequents...one mine, one my daughters.

Both great phones except:

One of them, the brightness constantly fluctuates. It's somewhat distracting to be using the screen and have it going dim.....bright!...dim....bright!
Is there a fix for that?

The other one went from working perfectly to having a completely black screen. The power lamp shows that it's on, and flashes to let her know she has pending messages, but nothing will display on the screen. We've removed the back, taken out the battery, but we cannot get a display.

Suggestions?

The phones are both about three months old.

Have you tried the brightness settings? Sounds like the flicker prob, may be the brightness is set to auto. Try that and see what happens.

The bright dim issue is definitely the auto brightness.

Hit the menu soft button, then hit Settings. Then tap Brightness and disable auto brightness.

The blank screen could be a couple different issues. The phone may have been dropped and broke the back light. A setting could have messed it up. Or even a bad update that got applied. Its really hard to say.

Thanks. The brightness sure was set to auto. I changed it, will see how it is now.

I guess the blank screen phone will need to go back to the boost mobile store to see if they can do anything with it.

yea sadly its probably just broken, you can get it replaced though im sure if its only a couple months old and it doesnt look like its been beaten to death
