I dislike how messages desplay in the lock screen however disabling it from showing also disables it from the notification bar also :/

Sounds like theres got to be a setting for that somewhere.

I dont like having my text messages displayed either.

I dont have your phone, but are there any lockscreen specific settings?

Not lockscreen for messages but within messages there is A setting to remove it from the lock screen but bit also hides the sender/preview when pulling down the notification bar

Does the same on my 9500 and I can find no setting for this despite having been through the menus quite a bit at this point. This is not to say it isn't there but no one can find it on XDA either which is a pretty good sign that it may not exist. My guess is there is a good possibility its all or nothing.
