Just give it a shot....as long as you have other kernels to fall back to on your sdcard you ll be fine

imnuts 100 were all i used for a month or so.....i miss having them

I flashed the 50 because I've never got a uv to work in the 5 months I've had my phone. But I will try the 100 if this one works for a few days. Like nit said its best to give them a shot because every phone takes to all of them different.

Booya told ya so :D

Yup, you da man. 26 hours into my second charge with 50% remaining, and still no softkey issues. Calls, wifi, 3g data, and gps all working great.

A bit bummed to see that his latest kernel only has 100/50 and 150/100 options. Using 1/28 @ -75 currently.

Question about wiping battery stats. when I do it, I just get kicked back to previous screen with no real confirmation that it actually wiped. I went into advanced>wipe battery stats>scroll down to yes, wipe stats>I press the "back" button and it takes me to the previous screen. Am I hitting the wrong button?

I've been using imnut's 1/30 -100 and I'm happy to say my phone has been running better than it ever has. I'm at 24 hours and 51% battery life left with moderate use. =)

You definitely should get some sort of confirmation that your battery stats were successfully wiped. I'm not sure why it's not working on your phone though. Are you sure you're booting into CWM red?

Yes, I'm on voodoo5 and using RED CWR to do it. Yeah it seemed strange that I'm not getting confirmation. I've done it 3 times now. I always use the "back" button to select too, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be the same to select that option.

You're definitely using the right button to select it. We're gonna have to wait for someone with more knowledge than I have to answer this question it seems. =/

battery stats dont seem to confirm when you wipe them...but i use the power button to select always, not the back

Same here. I've never received a confirmation that batt stats were wiped and i also use the power button to select.

Well I guess I don't have a problem then . I will start to use the power button to select though... Thanks guys!

OP updated and Kernel Competency Test now hidden. Its still there of course but now the OP has a much more efficient flow

OP updated with jt1134's froyo voodoo kernel

Please note backups are running so I cannot presently do an advanced edit but the link is there with minor description

This is truly one of my most visited topics :P
It aint going to see a lot of action for a few weeks. But mark my words this thread will explode like a volcano 24-48 hours after we/the dev's get kernel source. Im under the impression no less than 7 guys will have kernels out and maybe even 10 :eek::eek::eek:.

Yeah I figured that as much. What's the expected release for an actual ota, 02/22?

Thats a guess, Im almost doubting it now. There is a whisper or two that there are enough bugs to EB01 to warrant a EB02, who knows. But when it drops figure a week or three before we get kernel source. So basically here is out time line Feb we get Froyo and some variance of voodoo. March we get the real mccoy voodoo and uv and oc etc. Not sure when we'll see Kaos' GB/CM7 but I think by march we might see some early leaks of the 2.3.2 TW/GB but lets not hold out breathe there.

Honestly give a 1.3GHz OTB froyo voodoo kernel with -100mv undervolt at all steps below the top step and Im pleased as punch. Hopefully the rumors will be true that .32 kernels oC better than .29 kernels

Really that many people putting out kernels? I'd figure jt putting some cleaned up ones out and then once his tithing is updated Nemesis and imnuts building off of that....sirgatez seems to take jt base and then go with his own work on top of it...so I'd think he might take a bit longer....and adryn seems to only put out kernels when there is a bug he thinks he can fix or a few uv ones to try stuff out

Saps are you running the EB01 voodoo? I am on the fence on switching over, I am not currently noticing any lag but would love a little more consistent battery life.
