OnePlus One Invite Info and Availability FAQ

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I am super excited about the one plus one, but I have no kinds of connections to getting my hands on it. Any suggestions?

So, like, I'd love an invite if anyone get some to give out. I've been lusting after this big, black and beautiful phone for quite awhile now. Not sure I can hold out much longer.. ;)

I just got the email to order this morning and I did, but I didn't receive any invites... Idk if they will send them separately or what. If I do get any I will let y'all know! :D
 
I think I read it can take weeks to get invites you can give out. I have spent a lot of time today at the OnePlus forum and there are a lot of people giving them out but you either have to jump through hoops with a weird contest or be the first to reply..which means hitting f5 over and over and over and hope you get really lucky. Sigh.
 
Got invites about two weeks after I got my 1+1,but,the rate of handing out invites seems to be in a constant state of flux,YMMV.

The last official post I saw from 1+ seemed to state that more invites (to buy &/or give out,kinda hard to deciper what seems to be intentionally vague statements) to early adopters/forum members up to member #100k would be rolling out late August.
 
Did you have any trouble with USPS delivering your OPO? I'm seeing more than a few people say USPS lost it and stuff like that. I've never used them because of that but it's the only choice they are giving us. :eek:

No problems whatsoever. Signature was required for delivery.

It was required for me as well, but they chose to leave it in my mailbox despite the fact I have a mail hold. Luckily a neighbor found the package and took it for me (we have had 3 packages stolen in the past month). It took me an extra 4 or 5 days to get the device because she is elderly and forgot she has taken the package for me.
 
Hello OnePlus One fans. Today I received an email saying I won an invite for the OnePlus One. Regretfully, I am not interested in buying a one plus one at the moment so I am wondering if anybody would like my invite. All I ask is a code for a canadian Google play gift card. If you have another idea for something please PM me ASAP. These invites expire in less than 24 hours so if you are interested please contact me quickly. Hopefully someone can make use of this invite before it expires.

Update: and it is gone!

I'm sorry to say all of those invites are long gone & redeemed.
Those were given to me by OnePlus (3) to give out,& had a shelf-life of 7days for me to give out before they expired.

Once the invites were claimed,the recepient has only 24 hours to redeem the invite.

You may already be aware of how the invite system works,however,for those that don't,there it is in a nutshell.

Soooooo,for those still interested in this phone & are willing to wait for an invite,have the $349 purchase price (plus shipping) on-hand or risk having the invite expire.

I got a free invite to One Plus One to give away. It's for FREE.

pm me your email address and it better be a legit sounding address otherwise I won't trust you...

I got the email @ 2 pm (Indian Standard Time) today so the clock is ticking and the invite will be valid for about another 12 hours.

I'll check back to this thread in 30 minutes. Whoever has pm'ed me and responded to this thread AND the email address provided is legit will get the forwarded email from my personal account.

I thought I'd give back to the Android forum community! :)
