OnePlus One Invite Info and Availability FAQ

WELCOME TO ANDROID FORUMS Frank749 !

Before you buy an invite,I'd recommend that you subscribe to this thread & select the instant update via e-mail option.

No one here is selling invites, those who post here are giving them away,no strings attached.

Besides, buying an invite kinda goes against part of the reason of getting this phone, getting a great deal on a top-of-the-line model @ a fair price.

However,w/that said,I'm sure you're aware that there are scam artists out there,so,here's what to expect,in a nutshell,w/an invite:

If you're gonna buy an invite,I'd do just as you described, meet in a neutral location.

The invite is a purchase link directly to OnePlus.
Once you click on it,you'll be prompted to fill out all the usual personal information for billing/shipping,just as you would from any other site.

Payment for US orders is w/PAYPAL only,so,if you see something else,it's a scam/fraudulent.

Once your order is placed,it'll ship usually within 3 business days via USPS Priority Mail & you'll be provided a tracking number once it has shipped.

The purchase price is $349 + shipping,so,if you see anything way over the $365 range, there's another flag that the link is fraudulent.

I would love to get this phone. Unfortunately, this company wants me to jump through hoops to buy it. I am not doing it.

post your gmail address here asap, and i will send you an invite. i have one left but it expires in 4 days.

Better yet, perhaps you could PM dportal2006 & take care of the invite transaction w/o exposing the G-Mail address to the GP. ;)

I use the old version of pfandroid, and can not get the pm to work. Maybe he can try to pm me.
also, I think the other two invites I sent out will not be claimed. If you or kate know of two forum posters who want to buy, send me the gmail address and I will resend the other two invites.

I still use it as well.A few things are broke,as you noted, but,I prefer it to TAPATALK or any other non-browser options.

I'll contact those who've expressed interest & will move this discussion to the invite thread:

http://androidforums.com/oneplus-one/847218-oneplus-one-invite-info-availability-faq.html

This still presents a couple problems:

As the PM function on the old PHANDROID app is broke, how will you be notified of the PM from the interested party?

Do you not have access to the desktop version of Android forums & have PM enabled?

Should be able to do all of this using your phones browser.

BTW.......................

THX! for sharing the invites here @ AF,VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

Please contact me directly at gmail, using my forum name, with the gmail addresses of the 3 forum members who you recommend.

I've spread the word around, you'll probably see some interest soon.

Again a big THX for sharing the invites here @ ANDROID FORUMS.

I should thank you for finally getting me to figure out how to get into the new app, so I can enable the pm function. I found out that there were 3 previous messages that I was totally unaware of.

Just as the post title states,I have three invites to give out,no strings attached.

1st come,1st served, contact me via PM & I'll send you the link to the invite.

Just as with previous invites, the invites are time-sensitive,having a shelf life of only 24 hrs once claimed,to make the purchase.Otherwise, the invite expires & OnePlus passes the invite along to another person to distribute/claim.

So,w/that said,PLEASE be prepared to make the purchase at the time of asking for the invite,so as to not waste an opportunity for someone else here @ Android Forums that is able to make the purchase.

Good Luck! :)

OK,1 invite remaining,NO STRINGS ATTACHED,however,I'm qualifying this statement w/the following:

If you are not ready to claim & purchase the 1+1 w/this invite IMMEDIATELY,do not bother to ask for it.

We all know that the invites are time sensitive, however,a few (2 or 3) out of the nine invites I've shared w/the community have went to people who,for whatever reason, aren't using them.

I suspect there are, unfortunately,a few bad apples out there who are attempting to sell invites that are given to them.

Do what you wish w/the phone once you've bought it,but, you're not going to sell invites that are given out for free by yours truly.

My apologies if this post has a nasty overtone to it,but,I have ZERO tolerance for profiteers.

If I wanted the invites sold,I'd sell them myself.

So,w/that bit of business out of the way,1st person ready to buy the 1+1 w/one of my invites,it's all yours.
If the invite isn't used/redeemed within an hour after receiving it,I will post again until it's gone.

Good Luck! :)
