OnePlus One Invite Info and Availability FAQ

I got the email @ 2 pm (Indian Standard Time) today so the clock is ticking and the invite will be valid for about another 12 hours.

I'll check back to this thread in 30 minutes. Whoever has pm'ed me and responded to this thread AND the email address provided is legit will get the forwarded email from my personal account.

I for some reason was given another invite (apparently not to give away?) and by the time I saw the email, I had to claim the invite or lose it. I don't need another 1+1 but would love for someone here to get it. I don't know how to detach it from my OnePlus.net account to let someone else use it, but if you pm me we can try to figure it out.

Glad to re-join the gang here once again. :)

Long story short:
Sold my 1+1 after getting the seemingly better OPPO FIND 7.
The Cadillac to the Chevy,if you will.....

OnePlus One vs OPPO Find 7 - Phone specs comparison

However,the 1+1 is the all-around better phone,the 1080p HD Display is a lot easier on the battery than the OF7's QHD/2K display.

All other functions were equal in battery use,but,a heavy user will want the 1+1 for better battery life.

I have since sold the FIND 7 to the same person,& was gonna buy it back,missing the performance (no dice in getting the 1+1 back,already asked & a resounding NO was his answer).

I was gonna pass & wait for whatever OnePlus has in store for 2015,but,this opportunity arose & was mutually beneficial,no expiring invites & I save $250 vs the OPPO FIND 7 buyback.

Just a BTW:

If you think the 1+1 is a large phone,it's all a matter of perspective:

This will look like the HTC ONE MINI by comparison,but,nonetheless just as awesome (actually better spec'd,SNAPDRAGON 801 VS 600). ;)

Good news folks! I saw that this morning. If the invites had been more free flowing it would have worked better. I expected to get one much earlier and have them to give away far sooner.

All three invites have been claimed & redeemed as of late this morning.

The invite system is supposedly winding down,to make way for pre-orders.

However, nothing is set in stone as of now, so,I'd stay subscribed to this thread, as many 1+1 owners/forum members have stated they'll share their invites right here.

I know that Oneplus One will get rid of this invite system in November. However I would like to buy an "invite" on Craigslist and buy the phone in early October.

1) How can I prevent myself from my ripped off? All documents can be forged. How do I know the invite is real? What are the dangers of buying an invite?

2) I went to the Oneplus One site and clicked "buy". A message came up and said I did not have an invite. So if I go buy one from some guy on a street corner how to actually use the invite and make the purchase? I just want to know this in advance. I guess I could ask the invite seller to spend ten minutes in Starbucks and I could order it while he is there to ensure it works. But how do I actually use this invite. It must have a number I tyrpe in somewhere.....
