Root Open rom test

Yup, that one installed and I can turn off the phone and still get into recovery again. So my cheeks are unclinched again.

It booted up but the boot animation never showed up, making it just a black screen

I had to add an account

Flashlight worked

I'm currently in a fight with my wifi (non android related my computers have been having issues too) I'll check the market stuff when that connect properly

Worse things have happened, I'm starting to think it is the android not connecting to the wifi now, it's my stupid router keeps booting up and down but the computer has been connected for a good chunk of time, enough that the android should have made a connection past obtaining IP adress.

mine stays on the obtaining ip address to

The first thing it does on bootup is download that hugeass virginmobile essentials pack before it even gives a chance to setup wifi. Then as soon as that essentials crap gets done running, it blasts away all the prettiness you put into this rom with an ugly-ass red background and hideous icons. I guess that would go away if we removed the essentials app from the rom.

The big issue i see right off the bat is that adb doesnt work. I enabled usb debugging and adb spits out this
Code:
j@media-pc:~$ adb shell
- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) -
check_LGE_official: fopen(/sdcard/_ExternalSD/m3s_security/m3s_security) error

Is that user error?

Awesome!
Any roms update? And can anyone grab a screenshot?
It looks like stock, but I see SuperSU and Wifi tether.

You got me on that one.

Give me a few to assemble and upload another test.

If I set my own IP address it connects. I did a google search and thats the only workaround I found so far

Also as soon as I connected I got the Software Update notification to get ZV5

Wait, though. Will it work on Sprint versions of the Elite? After seeing the screenshots with the Virgin Mobile baseband and software I'm afraid to try.

Right off the bat, it wants to update "google wallet" and "google play movies &tv" if i had an adb, i'd pull those off for your :D
