Omg I learned basic off a 5,25 disc
the rents wouldnt buy a 5.25 drive, instead they got a cassete recorder lmao.

can u image searching thru code on tape? esp if it was a reg cassette and not the PC intended ones lol.

And is the reason I didnt touch another PC til 2000 lol
 
Remember when it was a overclock with the "turbo" button? Going from like 33 to 66 or something LOL. Okay back on topic :

That turbo button just interfaced the jumper pins on the mobo. Packard Bells were notorious for not even being hooked up. I remember pulling my friends 486dx2 apart and we showed his dad who was an electrical engineer with Ford that there wasn't even a wire running to the turbo button. We wired up the turbo button and to this day that man makes me and his son build any pc he is gonna use, LOL.

He is one of those that are having screen glitch issues at the new weird clock frequencies. The kernel works fine for me too but there is no denying a bunch of people are getting the screen glitch on odd frequencies. I'm not an expert or anything but all signs point me to the kernel.
