Root Optimus M Rooted, But........... :(

Ok, I need help guys!
I bought my LG Optimus M from Metro during the holidays, and it is without a doubt an amazing phone (considering its metropcs lol) I looked up how to root and Androidforums.com came up Very nice site btw.
Basically, I successfully rooted my phone with z4root, and deleted some bloatware from the phone i.e. Boingo wifi lol using root explorer.
Although, I was stupid and did a phone update through the LG phone update software. (thinking it was gonna give me gingerbread 2.3 or something) Man, was I wrong. it wiped my phone (its easy to redo contacts and reinstall apps) BUT when I reinstalled z4root, I ran it, and it randomly closes on acquiring root shell. It says something like; app unexpectedly closed. I've tried everything just doesn't work. The first time, it rooted no problem with self restart and everything. I've also tried super one click and it loops and it freezes (not responding) stops at rage something apk And easy root doesn't support this phone. Is there something I can do? I want my rooted phone back!!!!!!! How do I manually root a phone? Is there a guide? How do I go into recovery? Do I need an app for that? AHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rooting can not be achieved in 2.2.1 Need to downgrade to 2.2.

Thanks danyvw I went through the Optimus M forum after posting this, and saw you guys were having kinda the same problem.

I want to say thanks to everyone in those threads that were trying to figure it out lol Andyo70!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, you saved my ass big time! I cant thank you enough. Seriously. Thanks to Richiedaze also.

Using your post Andyo70 I was able to downgrade with no problems whatsoever and successfully rooted my Optimus M again YAY deleted the bloatware and now my phone is running faster than ever!!!! Man, for being metropcs this phone/plan is working quite well for me

BTW guys My dad has a Galaxy S Vibrant. He rooted also, but downloaded voodoo lag fix and jus an fyi he said it bricked his freakin phone So jus a heads up!

Adobe Flash Player fix for me: downloaded dolphin hd browser. Works like a charm and 97% of the videos play in there player! Nice video player also btw Skyfire sucks jus my opinion lol
