Order Shipment status from Motorola Store...

I just called to change my shipping from 3-5 standard to 1 day overnight and i gave him my order number, he put me on hold, and then came back and said my order was already boxed and just waiting for UPS/FedEx to pick it up for shipping
 
I called Motorola CS and she said that it should ship "either today or tomorrow" which I think is bunch of crockery! I paid for one-day shipping on the 24th (like a lot of people).

I bet the people who paid full price got their orders fulfilled first, and then whatever was leftover was left for the "bums" (my word - lol) that got the $200 off - which is why those orders are shipping at a trickle.

Don't mind me - i'm just frustrated. :p

Once again I was promised that it is shipping today. That is what I have been told Friday, Monday and now today.

I have been trying to change my shipping to 1 day since the day I ordered it. Was always told could not because of reasons above. But obviously a lie since mine has not shipped although of course like everyone else it says it shipped on 24th.

For anyone needing a little help finding their actual motorola order # and tracking do the following.

•Open the email you got that says "Thank you for your order!"
•Click on the "Your Account" link in the email
•Login if needed
•Click on View Order
•Click on "Problem With This Order?"
•Right side click on the link for your order number where it says "Original Order"
•Login again if prompted
•Left side, look for "Seller's order number"
•Go to Global Homepage and select your region if needed
•Hover over Track at the top and select Track by Reference
•Account number leave empty
•For reference enter the order number you got previously
•Destination Country - I think you can figure this out
•Destination Postal Code - you know what to do
•Track

On my FedEx info it shows the Amazon order as well, but minus the last 4 digits, dashes included. So say your order was 001-2345678-9012345 you'd put in 001-2345678-901.

There's two methods to try, hopefully you guys get positive results.

yeah i tried that, but still no movement. looks like they still haven't processed my order yet. i picked standard on accident from the rush. i'm hoping mine will be processed by tomorrow as my estimated ship date is between March 3 - March 8. rofl. oh well
 
I decided to call for s&g and after a lengthy hold, the lady said it should arrive at my home sometime today.

Never received a tracking number so there's hope. Of course around here, they could leave it by my garage or toss it in the front lawn so who knows. I'll let you know if I receive it.
 
Get this: I just tried to track by ref number on fedex.com, and nothing came up for my xoom. However, the dock that I ordered the day after I ordered the xoom came up in fedex's system. The dock is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.

Hmph! This is THE last time I order directly from Motorola. Their communication mechanism is awful.

Moto is not getting that many orders. At least not enough to cause shortages imo. They are just trying to cover shipping ineptness.
 
I called Motorola and the first person I spoke to said to try another number. I wrote it down and called but then I realized it was the same number I originally called. The second person I spoke to asked for my order number and put me on hold for several minutes. When she got back she said that my order will ship today. Even though the pending charge on my account dropped and it appears I have the money back into my account I'm hoping Motorola sends it today and issues a tracking number. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a Xoom without a charge :p
 
Even though the girl said today, I checked the phone call log/ticket on the moto site and her notes said she asked an agent and because he said by 28th-1st it should be here by end of the day.

While we know what that means, pretty much nothing. So I expect at best, Friday or next Monday. Stupid Moto. No tracking number, no payment taking out of bank. Crud all around..

I was able to use the method above to find my tracking info. Seems as if its expected to ship today and should be here tomorrow before lunch time. Heres to hoping....
 
I am still yet to get an email tracking number and I have tried the Order Number/FedEx workaround but it says Not Found.

So I am still waiting.

I ordered on Thursday, February 24th at 6:49pm EST

Also I ordered only the Xoom because I forgot the Free Gel Case

It is sent with Standard Shipping
 
Yes! I have tracking info now. The reference worked!

superfly, it seems that the standard shipping provider is UPS. Try tracking by reference on that site.
