Accessories Otterbox and evo

Yesterday, I sent a pretty nasty email to OTTERBOX and asked to be contacted by phone. They called me today, much to my surprise, and assured me that they did not "favor" the iPhone and that an EVO case will be about a month away. I spoke with Chris in the Customer Service department and said that they are not sure of release dates until the product is ready to ship. and subscribe. The more who show interest, the faster we will get our cases.
 
I don't understand the hostility. In business it makes perfect sense that they produce iphone products first. They outsell any other model by 4 fold.
 
A month out and they aren't favoring the iphone? lol, thats absurd. It doesn't matter, they lost a lot of customers on this forum for sure. I had never even heard of otterbox till I got here and was excited until I realized that it was pointless to wait. Picked up a silicone case for $12 and I'm happy with it.
 
I believe he said better, in this case his statement is valid. Right now there is no Otterbox case, so technichally Seidio is better.

As for quality comparison we'll have to wait the month, if even that was a true statement, I would'nt hold my breathe.

but notice how you back up my statement in saying that there is no otterbox case? intangible subject.

and then notice how his original statement says "get a seidio case its better." tangible subject (hint: "it" is a pronoun referring to "seidio case," a tangible object)

now let us define "better"
Let me google that for you
^notice how "better" is an adjective for comparison of excellence? a comparison, in this case, would require two tangible subjects. else, there is no comparison, and none can be better.

however, he then states that he is actually comparing an otterbox iphone case vs his seidio evo case. thus, a comparison is feasible, and his statement of one being better than the other becomes realized.

so ok, but i hope you understand where i was coming from. :D
 
Seen an iPhone4 otterbox case at Walmart today. Funny how it hit retail shelves already and no still no evo or incredible case.
 
this doesnt surprise me. cut them some slack, android did not blow up like the 4th of july till the incredible and evo were put out. business plans are complicated and include relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, marketers, etc. good business sense means relying on proven history and that is there with the iphone, and if you piss and moan about that then you might be missing your frontal lobe. the staggering numbers of androids growth that have been released lately will certainly be grabbing the attention of companies that produce things like otterbox, but if you think these back-end things can change overnight then you might be a spoiled brat.
 
I'm still holding out for the otterbox case, I wonder if they are going to make the case where we still get the use for the kickstand or if we lose that feature going with their cases.
 
well hell. when it does come out....and i know some of you will prefer the seidio over otterbox. i have seidio, does it's job , but its ugly ass hell....would like to trade..lol if possible...lol...hey, some may like seidio's "multi-case" design...me, its either all the way on, or all the way off..
 
The Case Mate EVO Tough Case is now available. I own the Innocase Active case. It is a great case, however the Case Mate Tough Case will be even better. I order one a few minutes ago. As for Otterbox, they won't get a dime from me. BOTH of these manufacturers took way too long to release a great case! However, Case Mate has beaten Otterbox, so my cash goes to Case Mate.
