overclock issues

Rooted a hero with CM 6.1, newest uncapped kernal and it wont go passed 691. its set to go up to 710 but it wont go passed. any reason why? am i missing something?

Its the same one on my phone and im at 730.

Are you sure? CFS or BFS? Because you can overclock the stock kernel to 768.

Maybe reflash the CM6 and see if you can overclock to 768 with the stock kernel. Then flash the 768
