So I've changed my CPU frequency settings to min 480 and max 806. I'm wondering what sort of changes would even occur. As I expected I don't really notice any difference at all haha. Should I change the governor? The only thing I see that's different is maybe just less battery life. What kind of CPU settings do you guys use and why?

Most custom ROM's get there best all around performance at 768-787MHz Max,480MHz min. You will also get the best battery off charge time. Anything over 787 and you will sacrifice useability of some system and app function.
If you want to see an immediate difference try playing Angry Birds at the stock CPU speed, then play at 787MHz-480MHz.
