Overclocking?

As long as it has a kernel that allows over clocking, yes you can. Just remember your battery life will be worse and don't select 'set at boot' unless you've tried it for a while and know that the particular setting you're using is stable.
 
Yeah all I think that is necessary is the kernel since you have the tools included in cm 10. This however will make your phone nearly unusable because battery life becomes a joke. The only way is to have underclocking so that the cpu does not drain the whole thing at once. There are tools like that in Google play and I have heard they are useful!
