Root PAC ROM/PA/Carbon interest?

cause our phone cpu is more similar to perigrine
the condor had msm8610 and we have msm8226, they are similar and in the same family, but there can be some differences

i used the peregrine tree as a reference when I build my tree

Wow.... Carbon was like cm12.1 with carbon fibers... And PAC is like cm12.1 with PAC settings......
I was really hoping carbon would be more original.... Like the cm11 version..........................................long sigh..
Back to PAC..... But I like PAC thou... Different features... More sense.... FOR ME THAT IS...

man that would take you a long time to build a rom

not sure what your financial situation is, but if you can afford to build a new computer it would be better

just to give you an idea how long it takes me to build cm12.1 from a clobbered / clean state

it takes about 2 and a half hours, and I have an 8 core AMD cpu and 24 gb of ram,

since you have a laptop, you may also have a 5400 rpm drive, which will slow things even more

I estimate that it would take you about 8 hours to build the rom, that is if you get no errors, but most likely you will, and you will need to fix those errors and start the build again

if you rely on that laptop for other things, probably not a good idea, cause while the rom is building, you wont be able to do too much else

but hey if you want to give it a try that is up to you


just google "setup android build system" and find the many guides out there

yeah, i think you would produce a better rom if you built from source, using my tree, with some mods maybe
 
Oh ok that must be the lollipop build for the zte 4.4.4 is kk and thatsvthe build I'm on right now. My phone came 4,1,2 tho jellybean & ya LG Optimus F6 500 lgms50O that's my device. Well thks man I hit the forums see if this 4,4,4 pac ROM is compatible with my LG. the bro.

the only way you are going to learn to do this, is by reading the tuts out there and doing it

when you have the build enviroment setup and you have all the paranoid sources downloaded, I can help you further, until them, use google search and read, there is enough info out there
 
Yes sir I knw I wouldnt try installing a zmax based rom on my F6. I am rooted but thks for the link, and I just needed to do a clean whipe I followed the given instructions from Maxgrit last night. And Im running very smooth now superSU back in effect. Thanks!!!

No it is not. If you try flashing it on your f6 the best thing that could happen is that it will give you a soft brick and cause you to have to restore a backup or re-flash the factory firmware. In a worst case scenario there is always the possibility that it could hard brick your phone and leave you with an unfixable paperweight.

XDA university should be a great place to start learning. It's a collection of tutorials written by top developers who in some cases work on official releases of the big name custom roms like CM PAC DU PA and Carbon.
 
I am running Carbon 511, maybe you could incorporate more PACman ringtones and notification like Pacman ROM has, this is a great ROM every corner I look around there is another surprise, DEV. you are doing a great job
