Root PAC ROM/PA/Carbon interest?

You guys ever heard of the memory/SD Hack titled (proposal theory) in here? If not you might wanna give a few methods Warranty Voider affords you with a try, they dont leave corpse finders like Link2SD. They can be a bit challenging to apply at first but just like flashing a ROM or running a script like anything else. Proposal Theory by WV its in the forums, if you're serious about extra memory his hacks are phenominal really.

Its not worth it on the zmax this phone already has 11gigs of user storage right out of the box.

Right, right, I wasn't thinking like an idiot all posting in a section where a hack like that isnt really needed. But more memory is more memory. But ya should have posted this info for an F6 type 1.25G internal memory or somthin. I just seen all that links2SD talk and wanted to put em up on WV's genious work is all. And ya you really gotta have at least a class 10 I recommend sandisk but I guess You shouldn't repartition a lot as I did and was using alot of swopfile for an extra ram slot on my SD card which shortens the cards life, It won't read as even being in my phone now so ya I think I beat it up too much I guess. But OK thanks for pointin out all my tiny mistakes as always lol keeping me on my toes.

Worth it to some of us who like gaming. I only have 4 games and wish I could install a couple more like Need for Speed Most Wanted (2 gigs) and GT Racing 2 (1.5 gigs). I have a ton of free space on my 64gig sd, but can't do what I want with my phone. I'm doing my best to learn to fix these kinds of things myself but I have a long way to go and can't even afford a used computer to further my skills. Until then, I just have to hope that I can convince skilled devs like you that moving apps to sd IS very important to some of us.

I can understand that some people might need a little more space for games but the with hack that @The-Truth was talking about, the 2nd partition on your SD card replaces your internal memory so you lose that 11gigs of internal space which means its a rather large trade off. If any of you want to see if it will work on the zmax you can find it here: http://androidforums.com/index.php?posts/6909071

I sure see what you mean @Masterchief87. That wouldn't be a good hack for us, but what about the bug that's preventing it in the 1st place? It's a tough one?

Right the hacks WV provides pretty much open a lil "flood gate" if you will, everything moves to the partitions extention/ext 4 ect. which is still gaining memory so I'm not sure how you loose memory, its not a sim link, lib link type of memory expansion like links2SD its much more and better than that if you have the proper SD card for hacks like WV's but I suppose we should keep this thread on topic, but if you wanna even just hear what WV's hacks are about type in (Proposal Theory) give er a gander. Oh and ya I have foldermount paid myself ya but I really don't need it I'm not a big gamer, I keep a Nintendo emulator as play Tecmo Superbowl, Tyson's punch and whatnot

I had that one for a bit if you mean the F6.. I used xposed and obb on sd module. Had it playing Real Racing 3 in no time. Wish obb on sd would work on the Zmax. Every time I install it the zmax goes haywire.

Link2sd does work for moving obb and data to sdcard, even 1st partion

Oops double post. Didn't realize it turned the page...All this about apps to sd should be somewhere else, shouldn't it. I've never started a thread before. Should I do that? Nevermind... I've been around here long enough to know the answer to that. I'll see if I can figure out how... If anyone has any input on moving apps to sd on the zmax please come share in my thread. http://androidforums.com/threads/moving-apps-to-sd.935986/ and that includes YOU, @Masterchief87, @ravenslight & @The-Truth... If you guys don't mind of course...

Ya and Apps2SD by Vicky Bonick over at XDA though I have reported to her that after the reboot setting the app up, but when I come back after it reads didn't/couldn't link. At least for me and I have tried on two different Roms so idk, Links2SD always works, but ya apps2sd has a foldermount that comes with it. Woah!! Ya you're right man this has become off topic. Sorry all, I'm out on that note.

Really!?!? @ravenslight!? I've been avoiding link2sd because, with no computer, I would have to format my SD to make an ext4 partition. But you are saying link2sd will move apps to the SD with just the stock fat32 partition? Is that right?

I've used aparted to make the partition, I don't have computer either, it was just aparted didn't want to work on the custom ROM but will on stock rom. Then was able to use link2sd to its fullest. However, before I figured that out I did use link2sd with the second partition as a fat32. Plus u can use link2sd to move obb and external data files to either partition

Ya I use to be able to use aparted but somewhere along the line I think they updated and jellybeen or lower it doesn't wanna set up for. I use the 2.6.3.0 TWRP on my F6 when I need/want to partition, it does a really nice job. The 2.8.7.0 Blue buttoned TWRP on my Leon doesn't have partition features which really sucks seams like any up to date TWRP at least should have that very important feature if you ask me. But TWRP is amazing in itself and by far my favorite feature of any non stock android.
