Paid for apps for kernels

[Sydney99]

Am I right in thinking there is going to be a paid for app for neak and a free adapted version of voltage control for siyah? Will this be the death of neak?

I know there were issues for knzo and the phoenix kernel about him putting an app on market place for a kernel some claimed was mainly other peoples work, but that went tits up so I'm surprised other devs are now going down this route.

Yeah there will be a paid app for neak. But I think it's more so you can make a donation to Simone if you wish. You will still be able to use all the features of neak without it, you'll just have to use a couple of apps instead of one. Personally I wouldn't have a problem paying for it as Simone's work is always top notch, definitely worth a couple of quid.

No, the Siyah app is not a replacement for VC. Its job is to provide a user-friendly interface for the adjustment of some kernel parameters, but is not an overclocking/undervolting tool per se.
