Help pan flick and reorientation

Hello

I have two problems with my Samsung galaxy s4.

1. pan, flick to move icons does not work altough it worked when the phone was bought.
2. Reorientation takes a few seconds longer than what it should.

Should I take it to warranty repair?

Thanks for the info. According to the settings for gestures on the S4 we don't Pan/flick. We have what's called Air Move, you hold the icon and swipe your other hand across your screen to move the icon. It does work as I just tried it out. I don't use hardly any of the gestures as to me they are all just gimmicky junk.

As to the screen reorientation checked mine out and appears to take 1 second.

Hello

As for the "pan to move icon" may be you are right and it was never available for galaxy s4. However it is one of those times, in which I think I know something. I only can think that I may have dreamt about it and then feel that it was real. If it were like that, it would be funny. It does not usually happens to me but yeah it could happen.

As for the reorientation time in my phone I just cheched it with "Stopwatch", and it takes around 3.5 seconds to reorientate itself. I guess this is too long. I wonder what would happen if I did a factory reset and afterwards the phone still took so long to reorientate. Would the warranty service cover it? I mean, they do not say anywhere how long the reorientation should take and therefore they could always say the phone works well and there is no problem whatsoever with it.

What do you think?
I have not made the factory reset yet.

Thanks in advance

As for the long time to rotate the screen: Thanks I think I eventually discovered what the problem for the long rotation latency was. Now it only takes aroun 1.25 seconds. The problem was that smart rotation was enabled and it seems that makes rotation much slower.
