Panda Home

An easy way to select the default home app and to switch back and forth is to download the free app "Home Switcher" from the market. For smoother operation, delete all widgets from the home you are not using.

Thanks, didn't know it!! I worry about having too many apps to do something simple like this, but it's nice to know that something like this exists and is out there!

Well, I finally figured out how to turn off the dockbars so I like it even more, now. (Inside the dockbar settings, after you expand the dockbar to customize, there's an on/off switch.) :-)

Just got Panda Home last night and I really like it, but those dockbars were just throwing off my whole theme that I was going for... someone suggested putting speed dials in there which seems like a good idea, but the little slide out buttons were not to my liking... It would be cool if you could change those... But Thanks...

new to this and the Hero ... i have Panda home and have figure most of it all out ... i just cant figure out how to get the HTC calender or the HTC bookmark as a widget for panda ... do i have to go to the market and get new ones or is there a way to use the HTC versions?
and if i have to get new ones which do you reccomend?

Thanks in advance

I used PandaHome for a few weeks. Eventually, I got fed up with the lag and switched back to Sense UI.

How do you get the wallpaper to flip?all I get is a gray wallpaper when I use the theme switcher.
This is such an amazing Home replacement! It's been updated and should be working with Android 2.0 and its such an amazing app! Its only competitor would probably be Sweeter Home when Preview 2 comes out, but until then this is for sure the best home replacement. With it you can incorporate OpenHome and Ahome themes, then you can customize them, you can customize all icons, the apps in your drawer, set your wallpaper to rotate and so much more!

I'm not sure why I'm promoting it so much since I have nothing to do with the developing, but I just love the app, it completely changes the way you can customize your home screen! Give it a try and see how you like it, I guarantee it can do anything other home replacement can do and better.

One of the things I really want from PandaHome is a cool Google Widget to match my theme. Anybody know of a good way to search google widgets besides dling every theme out there? I'm looking for something nature, earthy looking, tan, brown, green...something like that. I wish there was an app just for changing your google widgets =[

FYI - Just got an update for Panda Home today. The update indicates that Panda Home 2 is coming out in ten days, supposedly quicker and smoother.

The last two days I've been getting an outrageous number of force closes and freeze ups, I've switched back over to GDE. Thanks for the info though, I guess I'll make my final decision when PH2 comes out.

There's also a great free app called Home Switcher which I use to switch between Pandahome, GDE, and HelixLauncher depending on my mood. A little easier than the submenus in my opinion.

Ok am I being thick?

How do u make a call? No phone tab on pandahome?

Folks, what am I doing wrong?

Yes I know u can add people etc but say I just want to type a number in?

Help!i

Just tried helix, home++ and some others - same thing no green button and no way to make calls - is this a prob with the HTC desire? Helix did day that it was unable to open a widget but didnt tell me which one.

Any advice advice and help appreciated.

Karl

The HTC desire doesn't have one - ahha thats answered that one - will have to wait until they do an update to accommodate. Didn't realise older android phones had a button on the phone itself and not via the touchscreen.

Thanks for your help.

when you can 'add' apps/widgets to your home screens, it gives you dock bars where you can have shortcuts to apps and the scroll left and right. well i added one too many and cant just delete it like you would any other app or widget. anyone know how to delete it or edit them?

Hey guys, so I just installed AltDrawer, which is a better drawer for all my apps. I'd like to put it in the dock in place of the current drawer, but I can't figure out how to change any of those settings. Any suggestions?

Okay, so i just got the pandahome pro and have downloaded a theme but the theme doesn't give me the option to put the application monitor that comes with my phone on any of the windows. But when i switch back to the normal default theme the widget shows up on the list...is there anything i can do?
