Which recovery do you have?So i am running Sense ROM, with stock SD partitioned card.
I decided to repartition, using recovery menu. Seems to partition ok.
I reboot. My phone is stuck @ the LG boot logo going on 15 minutes.
I tried to reboot into recovery...nothing.
Any ideas??
That depends on if your phone came with 2.2 originally, It must have or you would not even get into recovery, phones shipped with 2.2.1 were changed slightly, so people didnt just downgrade to 2.2 and root. The one posted by getitnowmarketing...
I think it was for 2.2 not 2.2.1.. is that my issue?
when you use the bin file to unbrick it you lose custom recovery, and in order to put recovery back on you have to be rooted. the bin is stock unrooted. as far as I know. I can not remember if there is a rooted version.Once I unbrick it. Cant I just load up the new recovery menu and load the Sense ROM, its already rooted...

If you have a nand backup of your phone then as soon as you put custom recovery on you can restore the back up,
Or flash the sense rom if you dont have a nand backup
Ya I was one that used your long way to root, way back when,Yes there is a rooted version. That was how we got root on 2.2.1. Follow this guide to use the rooted bin. LOL
