Root partitioning my SD card.....

bamachick

Newbie
I keep trying to partition my SD card, and I'm getting quite frustrated. At one point, I only had 8 MB of internal memory left, and it was slowing my system down. So, I just repartitioned it at 1024 MB with 0 swap and I only have 43 MB free after that. That can't be right.... What am I doing wrong? I'm running HoneyBread 5 and KoumaKernal 2.4. Please help!

Thanks!

Okay, so I'm a newbie. The partition tool has me a little lost. What should I have each setting on? I have a 16 gb sd card. Thanks!

i did 2 on one and 2 on other rest to fat. the 2's are about half full and have plenty of other on fat.
make a backup in cwm first and save sd to pc , it will get wiped!

I'm sorry, still confused. The top slider that is the FAT partition is at 14 gb, and the other one that has the EXT-4 partition is at 1024 mb. That can't be right... is it?

Like Cwhatever said, make sure that you save anything that you wan to keep to the PC. Also, once you get everything set up I would get in the habit of saving a few CWM bacups to your PC once in a while. Trust me when I say that they'll come in handy 1 day.
