PC can't see framework.res, twframework.res, and systemUI.apk

Hi Gang.
I'm trying to make a new theme through the ultimate online theme kitchen, but no matte what I do, I can't get my PC to see the above three files for upload to the kitchen. I've even tried zipping them together, but I can't even see that zip file.

I've used the kitchen loads of times before with my old Desire with no problems, but no matter where I copy these files on my GS2, my PC just can't see them, but it'll see every other file or folder in that location.

I'm running the stock ROM, so I'm not sure if I can extract then like I can in a custom ROM.

Any help would be great.

Andy

Provided you've rooted the handset, the procedure should be exactly the same as for the Desire. I assume you're copying them to either the internal (USB) storage or an external card?

Btw, the files should be named framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk and systemUI.apk.

Are the copies visible with your Android file manager in the new location?

p.s. moving this to All Things Root, as it may get the attention of other users who have successfully done this.

Yeah can see them all through quite a few different file managers.

I'll try again in a bit.

Thanks Slug
