Root PC36IMG.zip still not working !!!!!!!

Yes,a rooted stock Rom would be awesome. Any good ones you recommend ?how bout Unofficial CM10.1 Nightly (4.2.2) + ??

If you're looking for a good solid Sense ROM I suggest MeanBean. If you don't like Sense (like me) I'd suggest trying the latest CM10. But those might contain bugs. They're usually pretty solid for me.

I'm extremely surprised ocnbrze didn't tell you to try PacMan. That ROM is more incredible than the number 42 for him. Lol. With good reason too, it's a great ROM with lots of customization. And it's not Sense.

I always suggest trying something other than stock. Just to see what's out there. You can always go back.

now the wierdest thing is happening, i loose root when i go into super user app when it checks for binarys. when i restart phone i regain root. i know this because i check root apps and they dont work untill i restart........ wierd. my hboot reads unlocked, jewel pvt ship s on. Can i still flash a rom.

yes as long as your unlocked and have a recovery you can flash a rom.....keep in mind that some roms may not have the kernel installer cooked in. however most of the current roms will have it. this should be a concern only if you are going from sense to aosp or vice versa.

su is mainly to allow root required apps access to the system partition.

Viper4G if you like Sense, but I'm biased. ;) :)

Great minds think alike Kind Sir!!! ;)

I also prefer the Viper4G, best Sense Rom out there hands down.

Just my opinion of course. :D

Truthfully, since you're Unlocked now, just do a NANDroid backup and try one from the list. Then do another NAND, and try another, then do another NAND, then try another....so on and so forth. You really can't go wrong with any Rom out there now, the devs have really become quite skilled. :)
