Petition against AT&T/Motorola anyone?

congrats!

its too bad...the average consumer has no idea what 3g/4g speeds are so no customers ever come in and complain.

true true ..I hope that people understand that the petition is more about the capped upload speeds than the so called 4G. I wish I could find a picture of a speed test of the Atrix and the iPhone !

This is what I came up with:

I am one of many people who got excited about the new Motorola Atrix 4G phone when AT&T advertised that they will be carrying it. The Atrix 4G is a powerful phone and has a lot of great features. Unfortunately, since owning this phone I have been experiencing very slow data speeds and have been losing the Internet connection especially in times when I really needed to find directions or look up information. I have contacted AT&T and was told that everything is fine and that the network in my area is working the way it is supposed to.
This is what I asked AT&T: Why would the Motorola Atrix 4G, advertised as the most powerful phone in the market, register poorer data speeds than other less powerful phones? Why would AT&T advertise as being a 4G phone while it doesn't perform as good as a 3G phone?
I am using Groubal to try to get AT&T and Motorola

i thought it was only me, i just bought the Atrix, and at home i lose connection over wifi
I usually loose connection when I am on Pandora or TuneIn radio at the gym which never happened on the iPhone 4. As powerful as the Atrix is, they crippled the hell out of it

Well, I returned my Inspire. Luckily I bought with the no commitment pricing. I told them that the reason I was returning the phone is that data speeds were slower than on my iPhone 3GS. The guy said that they haven't turned on the "4G" backhaul. My reply was that wasn't the problem. The problem is my 4G phone is STILL slower than my 3G phone because ATT turned off HSUPA. He looked at me and said, "yeah" and processed the return.

I really dislike it when they blame the slow upload speeds on the 4G backhaul. That seems to be the common answer among AT&T employees.
