Thanks. I do have another question and figure ill ask it in this thread since it has to do with why I might have had trouble flashing and want to fully understand this....
I was on older firmware and when installing CleanRom I used the patch to update. At this point, can I consider my firmware updated? Or will a factory reset wipe bring the phone back to old firmware, and I flash another ROM that needs a patch will I have to use it?

the patch is not updating your firmware. it is simply making a few changes within the rom to make it function with the old firmware. so no,your firmware is not updated, its still the old that you had before(2.11 hboot and everything that matches it if you were on 2.01.605.11)
as such, yes,if you flash another ICS rom that needs the patch, youll need to flash the patch again.![]()

So how do we know which hboot we have? I looked under about phone menu but I didn't see it.

youll have to physically boot to hboot or fastboot and youll see the version number there.
2.11.0000 is for current GB(2.01.605.11)
2.10.0000 is prior GB
2.05.0000 is release GB
2.2x.0000 are ICS hboots, the most current leak being 2.25.0000
After I asked that I realized that's probably where it was located. I loaded another nandroid backup and checked it, I'm on 2.11 running business ICS. Is this going to be a problem?
