Phone answering calls upon taking out of pocket.

So my phone has been doing this consistently. When I get a phone call, I pull the phone out of my pocket to check who it is only to find that I've somehow answered the call. Then, of course, I can't simply hang up (or maybe I can ).

I think that this has to do with the locking mechanism. Perhaps, somehow the phone is sensitive to my skin past the pants pockets, and pulls down on the lock as I pull the phone out of the pocket.

I was wondering if any of you have this problem, and what do you suggest doing (besides for something like widget locker because I want to keep the stock lock screen)

(This whole problem sounds so silly, but it happens so often. It used to bug me before, but then I had a custom ROM for a while which used a different mechanism. Now I am back to stock and it's bugging me again.)

Hi, I just received my 2nd (!) refurbed VzW Inc 2. Mine does the same thing. For this and other problems, I have the 3rd Inc2 refurb still sitting in the box to try, which arrived yesterday. Counting the Inc1 they ruined with the GB updates, it will be my 4th phone in a week. Yay Verizon!

Maybe a cheap screen protector would dull it's "senses" just enough

I have a cheap screen protector on mine and in the months I have had the phone it has never once did this...

Are y'all using a screen protector that have this answering out of pocket issue? Are are you not protected?

Hmm, guess I'll just have to awkwardly pull the phone out during a phone call. Any recommended screen protectors?
