Phone book is loading only

Hi fellas, i am having a problem in my phone Micromax Canvas 2 android v 4.0.4
its not working properly its loading only. I have tried following things but still phone book is showing "loading"
1. restarted
2. changed the display settings.
3. Synchronised

Please help me out how can i get back my contacts and how can i open it?

Welcome to the site Rana. I am not familiar with your device and have not been able to find any information for this issue around the internet

I will ask around and see if anyone has any ideas for you

If worse comes to worse, you may need to factory reset the phone.

The phone app is a system app. Factory Reset would be the best thing as it sounds like a file has gotten corrupt. You could try to clear the apps data (Settings/Apps/All) and clear data in "Contacts" and "Phone" and see if that will help reset.
