Help Phone disconnects from wifi .

Dubstep

Well-Known Member
I have a 4G wifi hotspot and my house. I keep it very close to my phone, but somehow every 2 minutes my phone shows that it's disconnected from it.

Another question: Any good texting apps that you can use with wifi besides Gtalk and Google Voice ?

I don't know if any of the WI-FI apps can solve your problem, given PLAYFUL GOD'S post that it's a compatibility issue.(Sounds logical to me)

I'll admit, the compatibility issue would have slipped by me for a while before I'd thought about it!

With that said,it may be worth trying out SD FIXER or FXR WI-FI FIX & RESCUE or other related/similar apps available in the ANDROID MARKET.

The 4g is converted to a wifi hot spot, so any wifi compatible device should be able to connect to it. I'm assuming he's talking about one of those mifi type things?

The only other problem I could think of is one of the usual suspects,ATK'S or JUICE DEFENDER type apps screwing things up.

Exactly, I have a virgin mobile mifi temporary as my wifi source.
I have advanced task killer but how could that do anything? It's not on auto.
