Phone Keeps Shutting Off

i have an HTC 4G Design, just recently my phone started shutting off and the battery will just drain. It will just shut off whenever nad sometimes wont even start back up. its just really annoying

Is your phone the HTC EVO Design? If so, check that forum here. Maybe other users have had a similar problem with the phone.

How old is the phone? Maybe a new battery?
