Help phone locked

i was sleeping over at a friends house, and there was a guy there that i really dont like, who went on my phone and tried guessing the pattern to unlock i dont know how many times. so now, its prompting me to input my google account, which i have done many times with my correct info, and it still isnt working. please help

Someone in another thread like this mentioned that you have to put your google account with the "@gmail.com" at the end. See how that works out

Here's one that isn't. One day while wiping the screen with my hand I didn't realize that each pass was counting as a failed attempt to unlock my phone with a pattern. I waited 30 seconds entered my pattern and all was well. Does anyone know if there's an upper limit to for these attempts and will it permanently lock itself if your not careful?
