Help Phone Makes Grinding Noises

Hey guys, whenever I plug my phone in at night and it "starts up" to show the battery I hear it making grinding noises. Is this normal?
 
If you're serious, then something is incredibly wrong with your phone. There's no moving parts on it.
 
I believe this is what happened with another's phone prior to the battery exploding and taking out half of his year while he was asleep and the phone was on the night stand next to him. Beware.

Make sure it's not your charger. I had a cheapass charger that made what I'd describe as grinding noises. I have no idea to this day what caused it, but I threw it out and used a different charger.

All phones that vibrate have moving parts in them

Nothing to worry about, just SkyNet.

But really though.. My charger makes a feint noise when it charges once in a blue moon.

Sorry. Bad sense of humor again. I just can't seem to help myself.

Blame Feint for that mis-use of wording.
 
Ok now when I use it in dead silence I hear a high pitched whirring noise as if it something was spinning.

EDIT: Nevermind its not my phone :P
