Help phone not authorized for service

Okay so about a week ago, I tried to get a custom rom for my Optimus M using ROM Manager and when I did a backup and got stuck on fastmode, so thinking I had bricked it I bought the Huawei M835. Two days ago I was able to fix the M, rooted it, and flashed a custom ROM, now I'm trying to get service back on it but when I call *288 there's an error message saying that my phone is not authorized for service at this moment. Now, the guy at the metro store did tell me I needed to wait 30 days before i changed phones, is this why i'm getting that error message?

It sounds like you zeroed out your account info.

Yeah I got zeroed out but I already put my esn and meid back into the phone and it still says the same thing. I'm now in auto mode instead of metropcs only mode and it shows that I'm roaming and have service but when I try to call someone even my voicemail I get the same message.

you need to reset your web information, on post 51 I believe of that guide to restore meid you will find a link to do it.

I just gave it a try...I found it hard and couldn't do it. Maybe I need to take a break and resume later
