OK, so I have spare parts installed and my running time is usually 100% or close to it. I'm assuming there is a stuck process or something that is keeping the phone from sleeping. Is there an easy way to find and kill it?

Check Menu > Settings > Battery Manager > Battery use Cell Standby.
Time without a signal should be zero (if there at all) or close to it.
Seems to be a common problem.
The apparent solution is ti go to Airport Mode, turn off the phone, turn it back on, let it sit for a couple minutes and turn Airport Mode off.

Yeah, my time without signal was 0%. I'll try this. Do you know if that is a permanent fix or something I will just have to do occasionally?
