Root Phone Problem..

So at random times, my phone will make that noise like when you plug it in the computer. But the problem is that it doesn't stop and just keeps going so i have to put it on silent.This all started when i last changed my prl to 01115 and installd bloodawns new theme for the CTMod.

How's your coverage? When 3G goes in and out it makes a funky sound also. If your searching for bars you will hear it

I have 5 bars most of time.

Then my computer has trouble connecting to my phone. I've already restored to stock rom and nothing.
 
try booting your phone into cwm go to advanced and clear dalvik cache and boot back up, see what it does then

edit: oh, i see you went back to stock, this wont help then if that didnt fix it lol

So what seems to be the problem? The Prl im using?

If you just do "update PRL" in the system updates menu under about phone in settings, it will go back to stock without having to jump through hoops


If the stock makes it go away, try 11115 instead of 01115
 
Just changed the prl back to the original but have yet to see if i still get that noise. Apart from this, my phone has been acting weird. My laptop won't read my phone at times and even though my phone is not plugged in, it still says that it is charging.
 
It still made the noise. Apart from that, the dock is not there anymore it just disappeared. I tried to odin back to stock but my computer doesnt even recognize it anymore. Yup im screwed i guess lol.

In settings/application settings/development, make sure you remove the check mark before connecting your usb cord. Your pc should see it, also turn off any anti virus. Also, if your pc is on all day, reboot and retry.;)
 
I've tried everything and nothing works. Tires other computers and none of them recognize it and say that the driver has malfunctioned and stuff.:(
 
it's possible that it's the USB cord

The one that came with my phone is already going bad. Sometimes if i bump it, I lose connection and i get the wonderful Windows reminder that USB 2.0 devices can perform faster if I plug them into USB 2.0 ports (all of my usb ports on my computer are 2.0 compliant though)

All of my other cords work fine. At least they're cheap
 
Hello My wife's Phone started doing that right after we got it. the sound hers made was like it makes when you plug or unplug it to the charger.It finally got to a point that we could power it down and it was showing it was charging and it wasn't even plugged in. It wouldn't turn on unless we connected the charger to it. we took it back and it was a common issue with this phone something about the usb port on the phone. Good luck with it.
